Extension 6: Pindaya

Full day excursion between Mandalay and Inle Lake.

Pindaya is hidden in the mountains of Shan State, a few kilometres from Heho airport. The small town of Pindaya is ideal as a first day of visits, before visiting the Inle Lake. Pindaya hides a beautiful mountain nature, which highlights its unique caves and the U Shwe Min Pagoda, which has more than 8,000 images of Buddha.

Breakfast is followed by transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho. Upon arrival at Heho there is a transfer by road to the beautiful town of Pindaya where we will visit their traditional early-rising market and its mysterious caves. During the afternoon there is a transfer by road to Nyaung Shwe town which is on Lake Inle. From there we will take a motor boat to our hotel. After check-in at the hotel there will be some time to relax.
