Day One
Flight to Hanoi.
Upon arrival a Spanish/English speaking guide will meet you for the transfer by road to the Sofitel Metropole Hotel. After check-in at the hotel there will be some time to relax before a charming one hour cycle tour of the ancient Hanoi area (Old Quarter).
Second day
Tour of the presidents Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi, the Tran Quoc pagoda (one of the most beautiful pagoda in the city), and the Presidential Palace. After lunch we will visit the National Museum of Ethnology and the Temple of Literature, considered the oldest university in Vietnam dated back to 1070. Other excursions include a tour of "the street of silk" and a typical puppet show.
Third day
Transfer is by road to Halong Bay, one of the natural wonders of the world, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. From here you will take a boat (Junk) on a route across the bay visiting various islands and caves. The stay at the Ginger Junk is all inclusive.
Fourth day
There are some activities on board in the morning before transfer to Hanoi by road. While on route there is a trip to the But Thap Pagoda and a typical craft centre before arriving in Hanoi. At sunset transfer to the Hanoi Train Station for the overnight train to Lao Cai. (Victoria Express Train-Deluxe Cabin)
Fifth day
Upon arrival at Lao Cai train station there is a transfer to the Victoria Spa Resort Hotel. After check-in and breakfast you visit the area of Sapa, including Tavan and Lao Cai towns.
Sixth day
Breakfast if followed by a visit to Bac Ha, where you can enjoy their special traditional Sunday market before visiting King’s H’mong house. At sunset you will arrive at Lao Cai for the last tour before catching the overnight train to Hanoi. Seventh day Upon arrival at the train station there is a trip to a local restaurant for breakfast followed by transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue with Vietnam Airlines. After check-in at the La Résidence Hotel and Spa you begin the tour of Hue, one of the greatest cultural heritages of Vietnam including The Imperial Palace where you can learn about the last feudal dynasty in Vietnam. There will also be some free time to visit the local Dong Ba Market before returning to the hotel at sunset.
Eighth day
Sail the Perfume River to the Thiem Mu pagoda and the tomb of King Thu Duc before transfer by road to Hoian. After check-in at the Nam Hai Resort there will be some time to relax.
Ninth day
Breakfast is followed by a tour which includes Non Nuoc where you can see the Marble Mountain, and different handmade stone crafts before exploring the Cham Museum, which will give a vision of the ancient Cham culture. Transfer to Hoian is by car through the beautiful land of Cham. A tour through the narrow and picturesque streets of Hoian can be made on foot, visiting temples, mansions, and the wooden Japanese bridge. There is an option to sail the Thu Bon River. Tenth day Transfer to the airport for the flight to Chi Minh City with Vietnam Airlines is followed by transfer to Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel. After check in at the hotel there will be some time to relax before visiting the landmarks of the historic city. The highlights include Reunification Hall (formerly Presidential Palace), Ben Thanh Market, the Cathedral of Notre Dàme, the illustrious building Post, the Chinese town and the Museum of History.
Eleventh day
There is a full day excursion to the beautiful and natural Mekong Delta. Transfer to Vinh Long and take a motor boat down the Mekong River to visit the floating market of Cai Be and the Thien Chau pagoda. Return to the hotel at sunset. Twelfth day There will be some time to relax or browse the local shops before transfer to the airport and the return flight.
